What is Hero Galaxy?
Hero Galaxy is a play-to-earn (P2E) game built across various NFT Worlds metaverse servers called Battle Planets.Â
The NFT Worlds’ metaverse allows players to earn their native token ($WRLD) and NFTs (Artifacts) for playing games. Hero Galaxy's ecosystem is open to everyone. Their mission is compensate players for playing the games they love.Â
Objectives:
The Hero Galaxy team wanted to create a sustainable P2E game to reward players for increasing the overall value of their ecosystem. In addition, the team wanted the players (the community) to have a voice in future game developments (governance).
P2E (GameFi) is a unique and rapidly growing category in crypto because the incentives make sense, but more importantly the community and the user behavior already exists - gamers & gaming.
As more players dedicate their time and money into the game, as they already do now, they should be rewarded for their efforts.
A metaverse project like Hero Galaxy gives anyone with an internet connection the chance to make money and join a welcoming community.
Heroes
Inside Hero Galaxy, Hero NFTs are the native inhabitants which act as playable in-game avatars.Â
The collection includes 5,555 NFTs that increase players’ in-game reward potential through play-to-earn games and staking. Heroes contain randomly generated attributes with various rarities, except for 10 special Hero NFTs. Each Hero can hold unique armor, outfits, weaponry, and other accessories called Artifact NFTs.
Artifacts can be minted directly, purchased on the secondary market, earned through staking or won through contests within the game. When users equip their Hero with Artifacts, they increase the value and rarity of Heroes by boosting their in-game and staking rewards.
Players can modify their Heroes in the Armory section of their website:
Civilians:
Civilian NFTs were created to be the first NFT held by a new generation of play-to-earn gamers.
Initially, the first 15,000 Civilian NFTs can be claimed from the Hero Galaxy website for free by joining Hero Galaxy's Discord.
Civilian NFTs grant their holders increased play-to-earn rewards within Hero Galaxy's various games. Same as Heroes - Civilians can equip their Artifacts for better cosmetics, to earn increased rewards, and access Hero Galaxy's leveling system.
Artifacts:
Each artifact earned is a NFT that is equitable by Heroes within the Armory or can be sold on the open market.
Artifact Tiers:
Common - 50%Â
Uncommon - 31%Â
Rare - 12%Â
Epic - 5.2%Â
Legendary - 1.6%Â
Cosmic - .19%Â
Galactic - .01%Â
Players may use the Artifact Combiner to fuse five equal rarity Artifacts into one with a higher rarity. The rarer a Hero’s Artifacts are, the better rewards via gameplay and staking.
The Artifact Combiner can be found - here:
P2E Mechanics:
Heroes and Civilians can claim $WRLD tokens and Artifacts based on performances, playtime, and other unique daily metrics.
The rarity of the Artifacts will be based on the in-game performance by players. The best performances among Battle Planets will be added to leaderboards and the Hall of Heroes (social currency).
Hero Galaxy holds 21 NFT Worlds used for different Hero games and experiences. Each game was created to replicate pre-existing experiences, some examples include:
Cat Game (Squid Game)
Colosseum (Fight to the death!)
GalaxyBlock (SkyBlock)
Battle Royale (Fortnite)Â
Tokenomics:
Hero Galaxy does not have their own ERC-20 token; however, they leverage NFT World's native token, $WRLD. Player interest is seasonal, meaning even if public interest in Hero Galaxy begins to decline, there will not be a dramatic decline in $WRLD.
Hero Galaxy plans to apply for a P2E grant from NFT Worlds as the first large multi-world project (21 worlds) on their platform. Individuals will be able to play without owning a Hero by minting a Civilian for 100 $WRLD (current price: $14.85).
New players can mint with a credit card to reduce friction of onboarding those without crypto wallets. Furthermore, 70% of Civilian minting fees will go towards the player rewards pool.
Staking and Renting:
Staking:
NFT holders can stake their Heroes in the Armory which returns $WRLD and randomly dropped Artifacts once per week per Hero.
The longer a Hero is staked without claiming rewards, the more Artifacts they receive. Unique rewards will be granted to those who remained staked.Â
When $WRLD staking rewards are claimed, up to 10% of accrued $WRLD will be redistributed among all remaining staked Heroes. Each day a Hero remains staked reduces the percentage taken by .02%.Â
Renting:
Players will be able to rent their Heroes to other players for their decided price as well as the percentage of the rewards they receive, all while keeping their Hero staked.Â
This enables players renting to increase those Heroes’ in-game stats, Artifacts, and skins. This mechanic rewards long-term Hero holders who can’t play all the time, while rewarding non-holders with a percentage of the earned rewards.
