A New Way to Get ETH
Since the inception of this newsletter, the goal was to educate people about the problems with our current financial system, the global debt crisis and bring awareness to the emerging digital asset ecosystem.
However, the ultimate goal for the company, MAJR Inc. was to build technology that leverages blockchain to help people gain exposure to digital assets like bitcoin (BTC) and ether (ETH).
This is exactly what we’ve done.

A New Way to Enjoy YouTube
Before starting MAJR Inc, I spent my career in video working at companies like Hulu and a YouTube company called Studio71, where I helped content creators monetize their audiences.
Once I realized the implications of blockchain technology - how deflationary assets and smart contracts were going to change money and global economic coordination, I couldn’t stop thinking about the combined network effects between web3 and video platforms like YouTube.
Last week, the MAJR Team released the beta version of the browser extension in the chrome web store (desktop only) and launched our NFTs called MAJR IDs.
The extension connects your MetaMask wallet to YouTube and gives the viewer an opportunity to earn ETH by to voting on the best videos online.

Each week, the top users have an opportunity to earn ETH - we call them top curators. Last week, over $5k of ETH was minted and the top curators earned 0.3 ETH or ~$400.
Welcome to MAJR DAO
The browser extension is more than just a digital tool for viewers, it’s a gateway to MAJR DAO - the ultimate membership for the video community.
Each month, 3 billion unique users watch YouTube. Previously, these users didn’t have a way to monetize their time and attention.
Now, they can earn ETH and join a global membership with a treasury full of ETH - that they control.
The Membership
Blockchains are trust machines and they’re very helpful for creating new communities from scratch, for example we’ve seen this with NFTs and the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
However, blockchains are even better at empowering existing communities and there’s not a larger community that stands to benefit from this technology than the video community.
And, now that community can easily communicate and coordinate resources at scale with MAJR DAO.
How It Works
When users mint a MAJR ID, they become a member of MAJR DAO and unlock unique features in the browser extension like earning ETH.
In addition, the following happens after each mint.
70% of the ETH is sent to a rewards mechanism for top users
20% of the ETH is sent to the MAJR DAO treasury
10% of the ETH is sent to the MAJR Inc development team
90%
Most projects in crypto are trying to pump their token’s price or the NFT team / creator removes +60% of the ETH from the mint out of the community.
MAJR DAO is the only project that sends 90% of the ETH back to the community.
We believe that ETH has gravity like characteristics and it should be leveraged within the project - as more users mint, more ETH is generated for rewards and for the DAO, and therefore more ETH is likely to follow.
Roadmap
In conclusion, MAJR DAO is a highly ambitious project with a robust roadmap to change the way we experience video and help billions gain exposure to digital assets like ether.
